Joint ESPE and ESE Endocrinology Across the Life Course Award

The new Joint ESPE and ESE ‘Endocrinology Across the Life Course Award’ is a prestigious
recognition awarded to clinicians and basic scientists who have made significant contributions
to endocrinology across the life course.

Nomination criteria: Nominations can be made by individuals or any scientific organisation or
administrative group. Nominees should be a member of at least one of the Societies. Selfnominations
will be accepted if supported by two ESPE or ESE members.

Members of the 2025 Congress Joint Steering Committee, the Joint Programme Organising Committee (POC) and the Joint Local Organising Committee (LOC) are not eligible for this award.

How to nominate: Candidates must be nominated in writing by a member of either ESPE or ESE, or if self-nominating you must be a member of either ESPE or ESE.

To nominate, please send:

• Nomination covering letter, outlining the suitability of the nominee for the award (no longer than two pages).
• A CV of the nominee.
• A letter of support (if self-nomination) from two ESPE or ESE members.
• Please include the full name, institution and email address for the nominee, and details of whether they are an ESPE or ESE member.
• Tentative title of the plenary lecture.

Jury: Joint Scientific Programme Committee

Deadline for applications: Monday 6January 2025  

The winner will be announced in February 2025. The 2025 Award will be presented at the Joint Congress of ESPE and ESE 2025 ‘Connecting Endocrinology Across the Life Course’ (10-13 May 2025) in the wonderful city of Copenhagen, Denmark. This will be accompanied by a 30-minute lecture during the Opening Ceremony on 10 May 2025.

Criteria:  impact on early development or ageing or both/ impact from childhood to older age 

For the Joint Congress of ESPE and ESE, we are introducing a brand new joint society award – The NAME Award. (name tbc).
We look forward to receiving your nominations for this exciting new award. The winner will be announced in February 2025, and the awardee will be asked to present their plenary lecture during the Opening Ceremony at the Joint Congress of ESPE and ESE 2025 ‘Connecting Endocrinology Across the Life Course’ when they will also be presented with their award.
 

Nominees should be a member of either ESPE or ESE. Self-nominations will be accepted if supported by two ESPE or ESE members. To nominate or apply, please send a letter of endorsement outlining the suitability of the candidate for the award, together with a CV to xxxx.
