Each year ESPE and ESE celebrate the best in endocrinology through our Award Programmes.

New Joint ESPE and ESE Award

The new Joint ESPE and ESE ‘Endocrinology Across the Life Course Award’ is a prestigious recognition awarded to clinicians and basic scientists who have made significant contributions to endocrinology across the life course.

Read more about this new award.

Our Joint 2025 Congress provides a great opportunity for you to present your work to over 6,000 colleagues, and to be eligible for one of these Awards. We look forward to receiving your abstracts and wish you every success with your submission.

Joint abstract prizes

The Henning Andersen Prizes are two awards for the most highly rated clinical, basic and translational abstracts submitted to the Joint Congress.

Support – The Henning Andersen Prizes are made possible by the generous support of Novo Nordisk.

Poster Awards, worth €250 each, are awarded to the 16 best posters on display at the Joint Congress.

The 16 awarded posters are selected from the top 30 posters which attained the best ratings during the abstract evaluation process, based on the scientific content and on the quality of the poster presentation. The prizes are bestowed by the Joint Programme Organising Committee to the presenting author of the 16 selected posters.

People’s choice awards, worth €250, are awarded to the best clinical, basic and translational abstract voted by delegates and the Joint Programme Organising Committee. The three top abstracts from each category (clinical, basic and translational) are shortlisted and delegates are then able to vote for their favourite. Delegates votes will count for 50% of the score, with the other 50% coming from the Joint Programme Organising Committee.
