Call for late-breaking abstracts for the Joint Congress of ESPE and ESE 2025
The late-breaking abstract submission period will allow the submission of truly late-breaking, novel and high-impact scientific research, for which results were not available at the time of the original abstract submission deadline (3 February). Late-breaking abstracts should present data, which is high impact, innovative, and newsworthy.
Please note that
- This must not be treated as an extension to the original abstract deadline.
- Abstracts accepted for the late-breaking sessions will not be included in the published abstract book for the Congress.
- There are only a small number of Oral Communication and Rapid Communication sessions for late breaking submissions, and these will be given to papers which are truly the latest, novel, high-impact research.
You will not be able to submit a previously started draft or placeholder submission, but you will be able to start a new submission.
Please read the following important points before you begin your abstract submission:
- Please read the instructions on each page of the submission portal and follow them carefully.
- Create your account for the submission portal and take note of the confirmation email.
- Login to the abstract submission portal and follow the instructions for Guidelines, Title, Author, Custom Queries, Upload and Summary. All Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Please note that the abstract word limit is 400 words.
- You can save your submission and return as many times as required until the abstract submission deadline on 21 March 2025 – your data will be saved automatically. Once you click “Submit” on the last page, you will be unable to edit your submission any further.
- At least one author must register to attend the Joint Congress of ESPE and ESE 2025 and present their work at the Congress, either in person, or virtually if it is an ePoster. The abstract of any author failing to attend the Congress will be removed from publication and the submitters will be automatically excluded from submitting any future abstracts.
- You will be notified of acceptance or rejection by w/c 7 April 2025.
