Prof. Svingen is Head of research group for Molecular & Reproductive Toxicology, focusing on how early-life exposure to endocrine disruptors can interrupt normal development and lead to disease. His group conducts basic research to uncover the molecular and cellular mechanisms of toxicological effects in mammals and develops methodologies for hazard identification, alongside providing expert advice on endocrine disruptors to regulatory agencies.
